Timeline For RICO Courthouse Demolition Released

(Rock Island, IL)  --  The wrecking ball could come for the old Rock Island County courthouse by the end of the year.  The contractor in charge of tearing the building down released a timeline for the project yesterday.  The idea is to have everyone out of the courthouse by mid-November, and to start demolition by December 31st.  Some local preservationists say they still hope to save the old building.
