Four Wounded, One Arrested In Quad Cities Stabbing

(Rock Island, IL)  --  A Rock Island man is looking at a host of felony charges after police say he went on a stabbing spree Tuesday.  Prosecutors yesterday filed charges against 29-year-old Dmarlo Bryant.  Investigators say he stabbed a 44-year-old woman, a six-year-old boy, and a 19-year-old woman, and bit a 22-year-old man.  But they are not saying why.  Police say none of the injuries are life threatening.

McLean County Coroner Calls Penis Harvesting Story Fake

(Bloomington, IL)  --  The coroner in Bloomington is assuring people that no one in her office is harvesting penises.  McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis this week started spreading the word after she says a fake news website published a story about someone who doesn't work in her office stealing men's private parts.  Davis says the phones rang off the hook at her office after the story first started making the rounds.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan To Investigate Clergy

(Chicago, IL)  --  Add Illinois' attorney general to the list of A-G's investigating the Catholic Church.  Lisa Madigan's office yesterday confirmed that they are opening a probe into clergy sex abuse.  The Attorney General says they made the decision after a report from Pennsylvania found a thousand victims of priest sex abuse.  Chicago's Archdiocese says it will discuss its policies and procedures with Madigan's office.

Chicago Federal Judge Appointed To Aaron Schock Case

(Chicago, IL)  --  A federal judge from Chicago will hear the evidence in Aaron Schock's corruption trial.  The Seventh Circuit Court yesterday appointed U.S. Judge Matthew F. Kennelly to handle the former central Illinois congressman's case.  Schock's first judge was dismissed from the case this month for having contact with prosecutors.  Schock is facing charges for allegedly lying on Congressional and campaign expense forms.
