Ziploc Bags Fond at Illini Bluffs School and A Park In Glasford With Imflammatory Message

(Glasford, IL)  --  Authorities in Peoria County are investigating the finding of several Ziploc bags at Illini Bluffs School.  The bags contained candy and an inflammatory message.  School officials say that bags were also placed at the park in Glasford.  The Peoria County Sheriff's office was then contacted and law inforcement are continuing to investigate the matter.  If anyone has any information as to who might have placed the bags on school properety or in the Village of Glasford, contact the Peoria County Sheriff's Department by calling 1-309-697-8515.

Chicago Man Arrested In Wisconsin For Western Illinois Human Trafficking

(Appleton, WI)  --  A Chicago man is facing charges in Wisconsin for what police describe as a human trafficking operation in western Illinois.  Prosecutors in Appleton, Wisconsin this week filed charges against Glenwood Brown.  Police say he offered two women as prostitutes on Backpage.com.  Investigators say he pimped the women across western Illinois, parts of Missouri, Chicago, Milwaukee, and other parts of the Midwest.

Federal Charge Filed Against Accused Davenport Credit Union Thief

(Davenport, IA)  --  Federal authorities are now handling a Davenport credit union robbery case.  The Quad-City Times reports a bank robbery charge has been filed against Randall Williams.  The charge stems from the August 6th robbery Williams is accused of committing at the R.I.A Federal Credit Union on Harrison Street.  Williams could go to prison for up to 20 years if convicted.

Moline Police Warn Of IRS Phone Scam

(Moline, IL)  --  The real IRS doesn't call and demand payment.  Moline Police yesterday put out the warning about a new IRS scam making the rounds in the city.  Officers say the scammers call and demand payment.  Police say if you get a call, just hang up.
