Illinois State Police Cadet Graduation


(Macomb, IL)  --  Illinois State Police District 14 Commander, Captain Jon Dively, announces the addition of three new troopers to District 14 patrol. Troopers Tim Becket, Chris McClenning and Blake Ross were assigned to District 14 Macomb after graduating from the ISP Academy in Cadet Class 127. Trooper Becket graduated from WIU with a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration in 2017. He previously served as a deputy sheriff for the Schuyler County Sheriff’s office from 2016 to 2018. He currently resides in Macomb. Trooper McClenning graduated from Lincoln Land Community College with an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts in 2015. He previously served as an officer with the Beardstown Police Department, the South Jacksonville Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. He resides outside of Beardstown. Trooper Ross graduated from Missouri Baptist University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He previously served with the Alton Police Department from 2014 to 2018. He resides in Macomb. ISP District 14 includes Fulton County.
