Governor Rauner Signs EpiPen Protection Law

(Springfield, IL)  --  Doctors in Illinois are getting some legal protections to write standing prescriptions for EpiPens.  Governor Rauner on Tuesday signed a new law to expand the law that already protects police officers from lawsuits if they use an EpiPen to try and save someone's life.  Lawmakers say the idea of the law is to get more EpiPens into the hands of law enforcement.
