​Governor Bruce Rauner signs two higher education bills to help keep students in Illinois


(Undated)  --  Two new state laws are designed to help keep more college students in Illinois.  One of the measures eases worries about MAP grants from year to year, giving returning eligible students priority says Governor Bruce Rauner. The second new law makes it easier for students to transfer credits from one Illinois school to another.
