CVS Nasal Mists Recalled Due To Contamination

(Washington, DC)  --  CVS Health is recalling a potentially harmful batch of its 12 Hour Sinus Relief Nasal Mist.  The Food and Drug Administration says some bottles of the product were found to have a microbiological contamination.  Frequent use of the product could cause life-threatening infections in people with weakened immune systems.  The CVS spray being recalled comes in half-ounce bottles with orange labels and an expiration date of September 2019.  The FDA says anyone with the product should toss it out or return it to the store for a refund.  There are several CVS stores located in west central Illinois, including in Canton.
