Campaign Strongly Recommends Certain Vaccines For Baby Boomers

(Undated)  --  A new national campaign by a leading pharmaceutical firm hopes to get baby boomers to check with their doctors about vaccinations.  Doctor Donald Middleton  is working with Pfizer on the project.  He says a lot of aging baby boomers think there are vaccines they no longer need. That's partly because our immune systems deteriorate as we age.  Doctor Middleton says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends vaccinating people over 65 for flu, shingles, tetanus and pneumococcal pneumonia.  You can learn more about vaccines and their safety from your doctor or from www.CDC.gov/vaccines
