Articulation Agreement between Spoon River College and Methodist College Will Benefit Nursing Graduates


(Canton, IL)  --  Graduates of the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Spoon River College who want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Methodist College will benefit from the articulation agreement signed recently by officials from those institutions. The agreement will allow ADN graduates from Spoon River College who have been accepted into the Methodist College online RN-BSN completion program to transfer in 30 semester credit hours of associate degree in nursing courses along with 47 semester credits of general education transfer credits. Before being accepted into the program at Methodist College, students must meet all admission requirements and must have successfully passed the NCLEX nursing licensure examination. Once accepted into the program, they must complete 31 credit hours of upper division nursing courses and another 12 additional credits of lower and upper Methodist College or equivalent transfer general education courses.
